CARLOS A. FIFER
President, Chief Executive Officer

 Carlos Fifer is the President and CEO of Fifer & Associates, Inc.  Mr. Fifer has a diverse background in real estate sales, investments, and construction. In January 1999, along with his brothers, he founded Fifer & Associates to provide affordable home buying consultation, real estate investment, and construction services.

Mr. Fifer has been a licensed affiliate broker with Crye-Leike Realtors since 2002. In addition, he has a portfolio consisting of several fire stations, residential properties, churches, commercial properties, museum, motel, restaurants, college university, including detached homes and multi-unit dwellings from duplexes to large apartment complexes. He has been aggressive in renovating properties throughout the Memphis and Mississippi areas with local and national investments, traditional lenders, 203 (k) programs, FHA, VA, United Housing, and insurance companies.

Carlos Fifer has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Christian Brothers University, has matriculated through advanced accounting studies at the University of Memphis, and is a member of the following:

CAREY FIFER
Board Member, Treasurer

 Carey Fifer is co-owner of Fifer & Associates, which he helped launch in 1999. For over 25 years as a Loan Officer, he has been committed to superior service to help his clients with real estate services such as mortgage lending, home buying counseling, real estate sales/rentals, and home improvement. He has worked at Community Mortgage since 2004.

Hard work, excellent customer service, and communication skills differentiate him from many other Loan Officers. Some of his performance skills consist of being available when called, knowledgeable about mortgage programs, courtesy, and promptness in returning calls. 

 Carey graduated from University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, major in Finance. He also retired his Real Estate License, and has taken several courses such as Real Estate Appraisals and Construction Business Management. Now he is a Mortgage Loan Officer licensed in TN and MS.

Working to provide the best mortgage/real estate services for each customer is his ultimate goal, because with each satisfied customer is an opportunity for more referrals. He hopes to earn your business and to provide these superior services so that you too can benefit from a successful real estate transaction

CHARLES FIFER

Charles Fifer was born and raised in Memphis TN. At the age of 13 Charles worked his first job. From that young age he has developed great work ethic and has shown dedication in the work field. Charles worked as an account manager for a major company for 10 years. Being the go getter that he is, Charles, did not stop there. He went on to get his real estate license and has continued to work all areas of real estate. As one third of Fifer and Associates he continues to work toward success.

PAMELA MOORE
Executive Director of Operation

 Pamela Moore graduated from University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Afterward, she attended graduate school at Webster University, earning a Master of Science in Management and Leadership.  She has worked at fortune 500 companies forming partnerships, leveraging spending, and driving bottom line profitability.  

 

  Pamela has over 20 years’ experience as a Procurement Professional with extensive experience in Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management, Project Management, Buyer of Indirect/Direct Materials, and Planning. 

Oversee $13.5 million in spending and captured $2.9 million over 2 years deflationary cost savings for indirect goods and services assigned categories. Captured $70,000 in savings in one year-initiated commodity strategy for MRO sites and Maintenance Facilities. 

 

 Ensure that optimum price, quality, and delivery arrangements are properly negotiated with suppliers.

 Responsible for over $80 million annual spending in capital equipment purchased for source and acquisition functions directly associated with the need for clinical and scientific research.  Using flexible planning with demand management. Ensure availability of purchased material necessary to support the production plan while maintaining inventory within budget.

  Pamela joined Fifer & Associates, Inc Team in 2019, Pamela implemented strategic directions for customer management, company goals and by taking on new business approach to optimization and efficiency by effectively collaborating with team members, suppliers, and customers. 

 Highly organized, astute, energetic, and team spirited leader with solid core values and ethics.  Pamela is calmed by nature and she has the ability to operate well in ambiguous situations.

CALON FIFER
BFA Architecture + Interior Design & Project Manager

Calon Fifer is an accomplished Real estate investor and has earned a Bachelor of Fine arts in Architecture from the University of Memphis.  In partnership with his father Carlos Fifer and the executive management team. Calon designs and delivers construction solutions for sub-contractors, field Associates, and design professionals. Calon oversees projects spend over $4M. 

ROY KISTNER
Sr. Estimator & Sr. Project Manager

Before joining the Fifer & Associates Team in 2019, Roy was employed as Construction Manager for the Firm of Allen & Hoshall Engineering. In his role as Construction Manager, Roy handled correspondence between the design team and the owners, conducting all Owner/Architect/Contractor Progress Meetings, and conducting site inspections on current projects to ensure the construction met the design criteria. Roy reviewed all contractor pay applications and change order requests to verify and control costs. Commercial and industrial projects ranging in value up to $45 million. Due to Roy’s extensive structural background, also worked closely with the firm’s structural engineering & architectural departments as a construction consultant.  

 

 Prior to working at Allen & Hoshall, Roy filled the position as Estimator / Project Manager for Inman/EMJ Corporation. Responsibilities included complete estimate takeoff and pricing on commercial projects, competitive bidding, creating and maintaining the project schedule and budget, vetting all sub’s, creating subcontractor scope of work and issuing subcontracts, reviewing pay requests and change orders. Projects range from $18-20million in value. Roy was responsible for estimating and project management for the Southwest Tennessee Community College project at Macon Cove, and the installation of new Body Scanners Security System at Checkpoint B at Memphis International Airport.

 

 Roy’s varied construction experience spans a total of 42 years, managing commercial projects, working alongside architects and engineers with design build, and involved in creating the working drawings for projects of all types; Commercial Retail, Multi-family Resort properties, Educational, Industrial & Airports. Starting in the industry as a structural design & architectural draftsman, with Certifications in the Building Codes as a Commercial Building Inspector, Plans Examiner for Code Compliance. 

 

 Roy’s education includes University of Wisconsin-Madison, and University of Arkansas Community College. 

Carlos Chavez

Sr. Executive Project Manager

Carlos Chavez serves as a Senior Executive Project Manager, bringing in more than a decade of experience in commercial construction leadership, project execution, and business development across the Mid-South region. Rising through the industry from field operations to executive-level project management, Carlos has developed a comprehensive understanding of construction from the ground up, allowing him to lead complex projects with both strategic oversight and practical field insight. Throughout his career, Carlos has played a key leadership role in the successful delivery of large-scale commercial developments, major renovations, and multi-million-dollar construction projects throughout the region.

 

His experience spans the full project lifecycle, including preconstruction planning, budgeting, contract management, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and final project delivery. He is known for his ability to manage demanding timelines, control project costs, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. In addition to project leadership, Carlos is highly active in business development, working directly with developers, property owners, and industry partners to identify opportunities and secure new projects. Through strong relationship building and strategic sales efforts, he has successfully closed millions of dollars in construction contracts, contributing significantly to company growth and long-term partnerships throughout the region.

Thadius Gordon

Superintendent

Mr. Gordon is an experienced operations and project management professional with more than 18 years of leadership experience spanning law enforcement, security logistics, and facility operations. He has a proven track record of managing complex projects/cases, coordinating contractors and teams, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while delivering results that support organizational goals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Memphis and has completed specialized training in crisis intervention, project management, and public safety leadership. Mr. Gordon is also CPR/AED certified, a State of Tennessee Certified Instructor, and a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy.

 

In addition to his professional career, Mr. Gordon has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to leadership and service within the community. He has held several leadership roles within Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., including serving as the Undergraduate Representative to the Supreme Council (2010–2012) and as the Fifth District Second Vice District Representative (2007–2010). His dedication to service has been recognized with honors such as the Fifth District Omega Man of the Year (2008)and National Omega Man of the Year (2008).Mr. Gordon remains actively engaged in community outreach, regularly assisting with initiatives that support local families. He currently volunteers in the Nutbush community, helping distribute food boxes to residents every other Wednesday as part of an ongoing effort to serve and uplift the community.• OSHA 30 Certified• CPR / First Aide Certified

Lawrence E. Cox, PMP-CET

Senior Project Manager

Before joining the Fifer & Associates Team as Senior Project Manager, Lawrence had been in the Construction and Engineering industry for over 30 years. He has proudly served in the capacity of Project Director, Project Executive, VP of Operations, Project Manager and Project Engineer. With his vast range of professional experience across multiple disciplines of construction project management. Lawrence adds credible value to Fifer and Associates Team. Lawrence has been responsible for all aspects of project oversight as it relates to construction project management and coordination. This includes resource and risk management as well as high-level integration.  

With a strong background in operations, Lawrence ensures that all action items are addressed, acknowledged and accomplished timely and accurately. His strength is the assembling of the project team, alignment of individual to the proper role and responsibilities, promoting a risk-awareness culture to ensure efficient, effective document compliance. Lawrence has had the opportunity to touch almost every major construction project in the City of Memphis. 

 

These projects include: The Memphis Pyramid, the Wolfchase Mall, the International Place Towers, the Baptist Collierville Hospital, the Fed Ex Forum, the Peabody Place Mall, the St. Jude Vivarium, the Sears Crosstown Concourse, the Bass Pro Shop, the Methodist University Hospital and Heritage Landing at Cleaborn Pointe. Lawrence has been involved in Commercial and Industrial project work ranging in excess of $100M. With over 14 Industry related Certifications, Lawrence is a member of 8 Professional Engineering Organizations.

Alfredo Pena III

Safety Project Manager

Alfredo is a Safety Construction Manager with over 20 years of experience with OSA10 & OSHA 30 Compliance specializing in construction management.

He began his career as owner of a Certified OSHA Bilingual Construction Instructor, where he taught basic construction, welding, Glaziers, Drywall Finishers and forklift trade skills. Alfredo also organized and prepared training materials for companies as a consultant.

Alfredo participated in various outreach community programs with 15 + years dedicated to fostering Safety Compliance & Training: Expertise in enforcing rigorous safety protocols, including OSHA, safety practices, NCCER standards, and PPE awarenessthrough daily training and emergency preparedness programs.

Alfredo joined the Fifer & Associates team in August 2025 in fostering core business safety values and aiming to hold zero-accident reporting as a goal while driving best practices and safe work environment culture.

JOHN MAJOR

Project Manager

John Major has a diverse background in construction over a span of nearly 25 years. He began his career as owner of a residential remodeling company in Iowa, where he is from. After moving to north Mississippi in 2004 and earning a Master’s in Project Management John worked as a Construction Director, General Manager, Project Manager and licensed insurance agent for several mid-south companies. John has been a part of the Fifer team since 2019.

 

Along with his wife and their three boys, John has served as a long-term foreign missionary. He enjoys traveling, fishing, conservative talk radio and quality time with his family.

CHRISTOPHER JORDAN

Superintendent & Estimator

Christopher Jordan began his construction career at Fifer & Associates in 2018 as a material handler for residential customers. Christopher dedication, hard work ethics, and his natural drive for excellence gives him the ability to work through day-to-day challenges, providing solutions, and completion of project schedules within a timely manner. His eagerness to take on more job responsibilities awarded him a promotion to the role of Superintendent & Estimator.

TEVIN BROOKS

Tevin Brooks began his career at Fifer & Associates in 2014, Tevin is known as the “All around Guy” Tevin has the ability to perform all areas of construction.  He effectively oversees the residential projects, ensures all required materials, equipment and inspections occur to support project schedule. 

Tevin is a graduate of L’Ecole Culinary Institute in Memphis, TN, Tevin has a passion for cooking flavor of tasty foods.

SELENA RIVERS

Procurement Specialist

Selena Rivers joined Fifer & Associates as a Procurement Specialist in 2023, her duties included to respond and socialize with clients to ensure of their project satisfaction as well as assisting the Project Management Teams regarding contract management, close out documents, procurement planning and supporting the field associates with their assigned duties.

 

Selena has excellent bilingual skills as she ensures customers’ needs are conveyed and addressed within a timely manner.  She also oversees telephone services, maintains records for efficiency and compliance with company policies.

 

Selena Rivers is a graduate of University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Language.

Selena has a passion for cooking and her hobbies are reading, dancing, and studying languages.
